Artist's Comments

Two years ago I visited Washington, D.C. for the first time. We went to the Vietnam memorial. Someone had left a single white rose, which I took a picture of. It was... poignant. I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

Really bright. Really, Really bright.

I like it- especially the ribbons and reflections.

Eh, sorry about the brightness. My computer screen can be wonky with brightness and colors. Apologies for any blindness caused by the photo!

I liked it too.
:iconlaitrisef:
Oh? I thought it was simply the sunlight. In the Vietnam Memorial, it reflects off of...basically everything.

Oh, well, that might be it too. One of the pictures I was going to upload was pretty much a mirror of myself and my family in the wall.

A friend of mine took a picture of her holding a mirror in the mirror. And a spoon. With flash- in the dark. The reflections were amazing.

I may just have to try that some time. Another fun mirror trick is to get a door with a mirror on one side, and take a picture that makes you look like you're levitating. I did one of those for a project in physics last semester.
:iconlaitrisef:
by taking it upside-down???

:iconmnemonides:
Kinda. By having one side of one's body on the other side of the door, and the other limbs held up. I'll have to take another picture of the sort.
:iconlaitrisef:
wouldn't that just cut you in half? (The picture, that is _._ )
